Iowa began licensing independent adjusters on July 1st, 2025. To the best of our current knowledge and the industry’s, most states will offer Iowa adjusters reciprocal licenses now that Iowa has a path for out-of-state adjusters to obtain a reciprocal license from them. Since this is still early in the process, we recommend checking with the Department of Insurance to confirm the reciprocal license you’re seeking, just to be sure.
We will continue to update this map as the industry releases more information.
