Description
If you’re interested in becoming a public adjuster in Florida, it’s important to understand the licensing process, as it differs slightly from the standard licensing procedures. You can review the entire process below, or read our How to Become a Florida Public Adjuster blog for more details.
Our Florida Certified Adjuster Pre-Licensing Course fulfills the first step in becoming a public adjuster: getting your Florida 6-20 license.
Florida adjusters must take an approved 40-hour pre-licensing course and pass the state’s insurance adjuster exam to get their license. Once you complete our course and pass the included exam, you are qualified to apply for your Florida 6-20 license. No additional testing or coursework is required. After fulfilling the additional public adjuster requirements, you can then move on to getting your 3-20 license.
Your course includes:
- Florida Certified Adjuster Pre-Licensing (Course #96558)
- Florida Adjuster Exam
- AdjusterPro Smart Pass Toolkit
– Smart Quizzes (Target Weak Spots)
– Unlimited Practice Exams (Go In Fully Prepared)
– Performance Dashboard (Track Progress)
– Exam Readiness Reporting (Identify Strengths & Weaknesses)
– Flexible Study Tools (Learn Your Way)

You’ll get unlimited access to the learning modules and practice exams, so take as long as you need. Your course access will not expire. We recommend you spend enough time on the course to consistently achieve a 90% or higher on all the quizzes and practice exams before taking the state adjuster exam.
We think you’ll be pleasantly surprised at how much you’ll enjoy our course. It’s easy to navigate, covers a wide range of topics, offers quizzes after each module to test your knowledge in real time, and even has a few corny jokes thrown in to keep you on your toes. There are typographical errors and unclear questions with no full outline of a scenario that could provide the answer to a question and where the explanation afterward provides detail that was missing in the question. Overall educational but needs review for errors.

I would recommend that the slide shows follow the audio better you. You miss a lot of valuable information unless you are reading the worksheets while listening to the audio

Make it a little easier to search certian aspects or failed questions to know what you need to work on. Like in the Practice exam, you could see what questions were related to the specific topic to know what you needed to study more in.

I like the information provided. It was very straight forward and easy to use. I think the exiting out of the modules was a little hindering. Maybe don’t break them down so small so the course moves smoother.

Course was a little difficult to navigate in the beginning, due to unfamiliarity. After rereading the navigational instructions and more experience, it became easier to navigate. Just like the information that I had to absorb.

The printed materials were well organized and helpful as a resource when studying. I did find that the presentation and slides could benefit from improvement. The narration felt very “automated” which made it harder to stay engaged with the material. Incorporating more live or instructor-led-elements could make a significant differenc in keeping students interested and helping reinforce key concepts. Additionally, the length and density of the content made it challenging at times, especially when covering topics that do not feel directly applicable to day-to-day adjusting work. Streamlining or prioritizing the most relevant material could improve the overall learning experience. Given the cost of the course, an updated and more engaging presentation format would add considerable value.
