Our New York Fire: Total Adjuster Package was developed to bridge the gap between passing the exam and closing claims. Save almost $300 off individual pricing when you bundle your Exam Prep Course, Xactimate Training, Residential Construction Basics, Soft Skills: The Art of Insurance Adjusting, and our Adjuster Success Method.
Note: After purchase, all of these courses will be available in your personal online classroom. We highly recommend you take them in the order they are listed below. This online course includes full access to our Smart Pass Toolkit, which features smart quizzes, unlimited practice exams, and exam-readiness reporting, all tailored to help you pass with confidence. We recommend achieving 90% or higher on your practice exams before registering to take the state exam.
Important Note: Make sure you are getting the license you need. The New York General Independent Adjuster license courses are available on our New York Adjuster Page.
2. Residential Construction Basics (4 Hours)
You can’t estimate what you don’t understand. This course covers foundations, different structures and materials, exterior and interior components, and mechanical and electrical systems. I enjoyed the course and the revised structure and format. It is organized, thorough and provides optional mediums (audio) for different learning styles. I also like the files that are attached as they are helpful guides and tools for the beginner adjuster. Based on material included in the training, I don’t think quizzes would be necessary so I’m glad that was excluded.
Adult learning theory says the more mediums you can include in a training the more likely you are to connect with a wider audience, though sometimes this is not feasible or practical. If there were an opportunity to drop in some short video footage I think it provide a nice shift in medium and connect with the learner in a different way.
Overall I think it is great course for the new adjuster!

I believe the adjuster success methods series 1 course complements the other learning modules and training offered at Adjuster pro. The course fills in the gaps and gives the new adjuster a sense of what to expect when deployed.
Part 1 identifies what it takes to find work as an adjuster. I believe staying focused and being proactive is essential to being employed. Having been in sales for many years I realize that without action on the part of the individual nothing will happen.
Part 2 was very informative and makes me rethink what I’ll need to have ready upon deployment.
Part 3 was vital in that it provided a clear outline of the steps that are needed from the time a claim is received all the way till closing. The personal aspects in the program of staying focused and not becoming overwhelmed are critical and are thoughts I hope to retain while in the field.
Overall I thought the course was good and something every new adjuster to the profession should view.
