In Arizona, you must get your insurance adjuster license to work as a claims adjuster.

Students need only complete our Certified Adjuster Designation course and pass the included exam to become an Association of Certified Adjusters member. The Certified Adjuster (CA) Designation and association membership qualifies you for an exemption to the state exam in Arizona. Once complete, you can apply for your license without additional coursework or testing required.

This designation course fulfills the Arizona Department of Insurance & Financial Institutions’ prerequisites for getting your Arizona adjuster license and waiving the state exam requirement.

Once you complete the course and pass the included exam, you can get fingerprinted and submit your adjuster application to the state. You do not need to take another test through a testing provider.

The 40-hour designation course is 100% online and self-paced, so you can study on demand via your computer or mobile device. The content in this course was curated based on the topics listed in the state exam outline to ensure you have the most current and accurate information you need to pass. You’ll get unlimited access to the learning modules and practice exams, so take as long as you need. Your course access will not expire. 

We recommend you spend enough time on the course to consistently achieve a 90% or higher on all the quizzes and practice exams before taking the included adjuster exam. You must pass the exam with a 70% but if you don’t on your first try, don’t fret. We’ll let you retake it a few more times at no extra charge. Once you pass the included exam, you are ready to submit your adjuster application to the state. You do not need to take another test through a testing provider. Instructions for how to apply for your license will be provided at the end of your course.
